Lead Project Co-Ordinator - Reporting to Finance Director

Based in Leicester City Centre, this progressive B2B telecommunications company covers all aspects of communications from on-site systems to hosted services, multi-site businesses, line and call provision, call monitoring software, cabling, IP CCTV, mobiles and IT support

Due to continued expansion they are looking for new talent to join their support team as a Lead Project Co-Ordinator. This role will be the main point of contact for their sales team following the receipt of orders. Sales will handover all jobs won and the Lead Project Co-Ordinator will be tasked with ensuring that the Project team retains ownership of the job through to invoicing/completion. Customer communication and relationship building is of paramount importance in this role as is the ability to work on your own initiative.

The role will be supported by x3 Project Co-Ordinators and x1 Part Time Project Assistant who the Lead Project Co-Ordinator will have responsibility for managing and allocating tasks to on a day to day basis.

Upon receipt of handover from sales, tasks involved in the role will include, (but not be limited to)

- Issuing a welcome letter to customers to highlight contact details
- Attending customer site visits if required to understand larger projects.
- Provisioning goods/services ordered via associated platforms
- Dealing with the supply chain to procure any goods required to fulfil orders
- Maintaining stock control levels to ensure orders can be fulfilled
- Scheduling the job with the customer and allocating engineering resource
- Allocating any kit required, ensuring timely despatch of equipment and keeping records updated
- Pre-calling customers prior to install/appointment time to keep customers informed
- Completing any programming documents required.
- Completing any H&S documentation to accompany job.
- Upon completion, closing off the job via all in house systems and making sure billing and future communication can take place smoothly.

Key candidate attributes should include;

- Excellent telephone and communication skills
- A willingness to learn new software systems
- Competent in use of MS Office.
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- A commercial can do attitude.
- Previous experience within the telecoms industry would be highly advantageous, although not essential
- Previous experience of health and safety is also desirable but not essential.

The Package:

- Salary of £24k - £26k DOE
- 20 days holiday plus bank hols (rising to 28 plus bank hols with service)
- Contributory Pension scheme
