About the role
With the continued growth of our Plant business we are currently recruiting for Driver/Operators to join our Specialist Plant Services function located in Sandiacre. This pivotal business function offers the planned and spot hire of railway plant within the technical rail construction and maintenance services across the whole of the UK.

What you'll be doing
Working as part of a fast paced team, you will be responsible for preparing and driving Specialist Plant Service equipment in accordance with national rules & regulations, Railway Group Standards and company policies. You will be required to work weekends, nights, Bank Holidays and lodge away from home as part of a team dedicated to delivering the current & future contracts for Balfour Beatty Rail.

With multi-skilled training offered, allowing you to build a career within Balfour Beatty, you will also have the opportunity to work within other parts of our Plant Business to ensure your professional development.

Who we're looking for
To be successful in this role you will;

Be a proactive and customer focused individual who is passionate about delivering a great service.
Have previous OTM driving experience (beneficial).
Have a current route knowledge in the Wessex, Western & South Wales areas (beneficial).
Have a current/past route knowledge card for the UK (essential).

If you have strong experience as a qualified Train Driver (either with passengers or on track machines) and would like the opportunity to become multi-skilled we want to hear from you!
