A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to join the team in Dunbar, working 37.5 hours a week

The Environmental, Health & Safety Manager Role

The Environmental, Health & Safety Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining and promoting Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, Method Statements and other safety systems as required to achieve a high-level safety culture within Dunbar ERF. This will involve:

• The maintenance and on-going development of Dunbar ERF’s HSEQ systems to optimum levels
• Implement, control, maintain and improve the SHEQS Management systems including achieving and maintaining ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO 45001 & ISO50001 certification.
• To lead and maintain the management of “on & off” site monitoring/inspection regimes for Dunbar ERF ensuring all recordings are in line with company procedures and best practices.
• To review and analysis the data collected to provide guidance/advice on corrective actions
• Participate in regular communications with Operations and Engineering teams regarding ongoing environmental control

The Ideal Environmental, Health & Safety Manager

• Experience of H&S and environmental databases
• Science based Degree (or equivalent i.e. SVQ Level 9)
• NEBOSH (Gen Cert min) or equivalent IOSH qualification
• In depth knowledge of HS&E legislation and compliance

In return for your hard work as our Environmental, Health & Safety Manager, you will receive a competitive salary of £47,000 - £50,000 per annum as well as an attractive benefits package and a Business van fully expensed.
