Position: Software Tester
Location: Chester, Cheshire
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (Dependent on Experience)
The Software Tester Role:
Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an experienced Software Tester to join them, based at their site in Chester.
You will report to the Release Manager and work alongside the existing testing team.
Skills & Experience Required:
Our client is an independent software house, serving a select group of long term blue-chip clients. Having developed and supported their strategic bespoke systems for over 20 years, they are continuing to develop new systems using the latest technologies.
Their established reputation for providing large scale systems to the holiday park sector has meant that they are involved with several of the largest operators in the UK. With increasing demand from both new and existing clients several new opportunities have arisen.

- At least 2 years’ experience of testing large scale bespoke .net applications
- A clear and analytical approach to problem solving, coupled with great attention to detail
- Experience with SQL is essential
- A working understanding of Quality Centre is desirable
- Exposure to HP Functional Tester is desirable
- Computing or IT based degree
