It’s a job that comes with full training, generous rewards, real prospects - and a genuine sense of job satisfaction.</p><p>We have part-time opportunities in West Hallam, Derbyshire, shifts include weekdays/weekends and sleep-ins. A full UK driving licence is required and access to your own vehicle would be useful.</p><p><strong>Who we are</strong></p><p>United Response is a leading national charity providing support to young people and adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. We believe in championing the right of disabled people to live, work, socialise and participate in the community, free of discrimination and unnecessary boundaries.</p><p><strong>Welcome to our West Hallam service</strong></p><p>You’ll be joining the team in our service in West Hallam, Derbyshire. The team supports people in the community and their own homes. The people in the service are very keen to get out and make the most of life </p><p><strong>Make it happen - your role</strong></p><p>You’ll have a responsible role that’s really varied, sometimes challenging and often lots of fun. The job is all about giving people encouragement, guidance and support - so they can live as independently as possible, make their own choices and do the things they enjoy. Here are just some of the activities you could soon be supporting:</p><p>Cooking, cleaning and washing – Personal Care - Paying bills/Managing household finances - Taking medicines - Going shopping - Gardening – Going Bowling – Going to discos and clubs – Swimmimg - Visiting Dentists/Doctors</p><p>If you have interests or hobbies of your own, we’d love you to share them with us.</p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>We welcome people from all walks of life.
