The Company
My client has exclusively retained us to recruit a technical sales professional with a scientific, medical, technical, engineering or associated background. We're flexible on background so if you're a technical sales professional please apply.
They're a manufacturer of technical and scientific machinery, systems and solutions. They're looking to grow and develop their sales and marketing team with a senior technical sales engineer to grow the existing customer base in North America. Based from my client's office you will be joining a friendly and personable team who will help you day to day in addition to the structured training you will receive.
Technical Sales Engineer Responsibilities
- Sell into customers throughout North America
- Develop long term relationships with customers, interpreting their requirements and providing a quality, detailed service
- Providing technical assistance and educating people on the company's products and solution offering
- Supporting marketing activities by attending industry trade shows and conferences
- Travelling on average one week per month to North America
Technical Sales Engineer Criteria
- Technical, engineering or scientific knowledge or qualification
- Sales experience with a proven track record
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive and autonomous personality
