Sales Manager LTP (Long Term Program)

We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our sales team forSiemens Industrial Turbomachinery (SIT) Ltd based in Lincoln. Siemens Industrial Turbomachinerydesigns, manufactures, installs and provides life-time support for world-class gas turbines for Industrial Power Generation and the Oil and Gas Industry. SIT Ltd is a major exporter of gas turbines with more than 3,000 units sold and operating in 88 countries.

What are the responsibilities?

A Sales Manager is required to work within the LTP (Long Term Programme) sales team within Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery Limited in Lincoln. Principal responsibilities shall include:-

- Establish and uphold cordial working relationships through personal contact with customers, other team members and a wider group of colleagues located globally to increase business potential.
- Provide a professional point of contact by acting conscientiously and responsibly.
- Develop commercial tenders and negotiate successful LTP, Call Off and Frame Agreement contracts in line with budget requirements.
- Prepare long term cost of service evaluations to assist new equipment colleagues in the sale of capital equipment.
- Gather and evaluate all relevant information prior to customer visits to ensure successful results are achieved during the meetings.
- Formulate and present reports to provide feedback to other departments to ensure quality of service is improved.
- Respond to customers within agreed timescales with relevant information and recommendations to ensure customer confidence and satisfaction.
- Update order intake forecasts, monthly reports, CRM system ***************) etc thereby ensuring process compliancy and to be in line with business processes.

What do I need to qualify for the job?

- Substantial customer/sales experience is required, preferably with gas turbine or other rotating equipment experience.
- Educated to degree standard. An engineering or business studies degree is preferred, but other engineering or professional qualifications will be considered with relevant previous experience.
- Experience of problem solving.
- Ability to use own initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Work without direct supervision and demonstrate high levels of motivation.
- Represent Siemens in a professional and positive manner at all times in order to reduce the risks associated with commercial and product liabilities.
- To ensure all of the Siemens processes and compliance requirements are strictly adhered to.
- To adhere to all company health and safety regulations.

- Some short term UK and International travel will be expected.
