Tool Maker

Our client is a well-established Company, employing experienced Tool Makers located near to Birmingham city centre. The company specialises in the manufacture and distribution of high quality brass products in the Bathroom Accessories and Architectural Hardware markets both in the UK and overseas.

Arising from a forthcoming retirement our client currently has a vacancy for an experienced Tool Maker to join their small team working in a traditional tool room, which includes manual and CNC milling and turning, EDM Spark and Wire machines.

Working as a Tool Maker will be interesting, challenging and varied and will include:

• New and refurbished production tooling/jigs and fixture.
• Prototypes sample for design and one off components for specials.

It is normal for candidates to have served a tool making apprenticeship for this post.
