Providing construction services across a portfolio of commercial, residential and retail contracts, their capability includes property services and maintenance works to major refurbishment, fit-out and new build developments.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will assume responsibility for overseeing the commercial management for a range of construction projects with typical values from GBP500k-GBP4m across the Devon region. You will be required to build good working relationships with the supply chain, site teams, consultants and clients, ensuring projects are completed to budget, minimising commercial risk and maximising profit.
The right candidate will possess:
- sound commercial and contractual awareness
- great attention to detail
- excellent communication and client facing skills
- a solid career history in a QS role within a Contracting company
- Knowledge of the local sub-contract market is beneficial
- IT literate
