DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN

Having recently joined the Redhill Academy Trust, Park Vale Academy, is a newly constructed Academy situated in the Rise Park area of Nottingham. Due to be re-opened on 1st September 2017 to students aged 11 to 16, the school has undergone recent operational changes to both its pastoral and administration systems. The school is friendly and forward looking, and determined to accelerate recent improvements in outcomes for all its students.

Required to start from 1^st September 2017, Park Vale Academy is seeking experienced people to a variety of roles within its new pastoral and administration teams. We are seeking to appoint practitioners in the following area to strengthen the inclusive learning culture within the highly motivated operational support teams.

DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN - FOOD

The Redhill Academy Trust Pay Scale, Band 6

£16,007 - £17,669 FTE, pro-rata

20  hours/week, Permanent (term time only)

Responsible to the Design and Technology Department Leader you will provide an efficient and effective technical service to the Design and Technology faculty. Duties will include the organisation of support systems for Food Technology teaching at Keystage 3 and 4, supporting teaching staff with resources for lessons, and provide technical advice and assistance with a responsibility for Health and Safety. You will ensure provision of all equipment and materials to support lessons and examinations.
