Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an Interim Management Accountant/Finance Manager to join a well-established FMCG business based in Leeds to oversee the finance function for an initial contract of up to 9 months.
The ideal individual will have previous experience in all aspect of transactional accounts up to and including the production of Monthly Management Accounts whilst also overseeing 1 Accounts Assistant on a day to day basis.
Duties and Responsibilities are to include:
*Managing the accounts function; Credit Control, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Nominal Ledger
*Supervision of an Accounts Assistant
*Production of monthly Management Accounts inc. Group Consolidation
*Processing of weekly and monthly payrolls inc. starters/leavers/absences and employee file maintenance
*Cash flow management/forecasting
*Supplier and ad hoc payments
*Invoice Financing Facility maintenance & reconciliation
*Customer Rebates management
*Weekly Margin & P&L Reporting to Directors
*VAT returns & EC sales filing
*Stock management and stock valuation
*Foreign currency management
*Import and Export environment experience
*Use of Sage 1000
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to undertake an initial fixed term contract (potential to be extended or made perm) in a role that offers full control of the day to day accounts whilst also offering exposure to line management responsibilities.
