Job Title: Powder Coater
Location: Cardiff (outskirts)
Salary: GBP8.50ph
Hours: Monday - Thursday 6am to 2pm. Friday 6am to 1pm (once trained a shift pattern will be put in place)
Our client is one of the leading powder coating companies in the UK offering a high-quality service to customers in the Midlands, the South of England and South Wales.
They have two powder coating facilities on site, the first being an automatic conveyorised system with an in-line pre-treatment tunnel comprising of both iron phosphate and chromate pre-treatment systems and an automatic spray booth. The other facility comprises of 3 manual spray booths with box ovens.
Attention to detail at every stage of the coating process is maintained through a series of comprehensive in-process controls, end of line inspection and end of line testing.
The role will be to work on a busy powder coating line. It will be a hands-on position and you will be prepping products as well as powder coating.
The Candidate:
The right candidate will firstly be a skilled powder coater and have previous experience working in a similar environment. As you will be required to work with a team of powder coaters you should also have excellent organisational skill. Previous experience required working with powder coating
Duties:
* Prepping of products, organisation of equipment, carry out final checks
* Responsible for a keeping a clean and tidy work environment
* You may be required to assist in other jobs during busy periods
* Able to work as part of a team, and on your own with minimal supervision.
* Able to work under pressure
* Able to do carry out lifting objects when required
* Have experience working in a warehouse environment
* Be hard working and have an excellent work ethic
* Have excellent written and spoken English
Due to the location you will need your own transport as this is not on a bus route
