We are recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician, on DAYS, for a manufacturing company in the Deeside area.
This is a permanent role paying between GBP30,000-32,000 per annum.
The position is on days working from 9am-5pm.
THE ROLE:
The role of Maintenance Electrician will consist of the following tasks.
* Routine and preventive electrical maintenance on process and plant.
* Electrical & Mechanical knowledge of printing machines would be advantageous.
* Knowledge of PLCs and fault finding on them would be helpful.
* Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics helpful.
* Modifications, upgrades and installations to plant and process.
* Evaluate electrical proposals, drawings & designs to conform with Health & Safety legislation.
THE CANDIDATE:
To be considered for the role of Maintenance Technician you will need the following.
* ONC/ HNC/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering/Maintenance (or equivalent)
* A skilled electrical background & good experience of working within a process driven manufacturing environment such as Packaging, FMCG, Chemical or Pharmaceutical.
* A sound understanding of problem solving and fault finding principles and techniques.
* Excellent time management skills, organised and able to approach problems systematically.
* Demonstrate the ability to work independently to a high standard
