Head of Operations - Residential Property - Non Fee Earning Role
A very strong well established regional practice is keen to make a senior appointment within the firms' Residential Conveyancing Team and appoint a Head of Operations to oversee the next phase of the Residential Property Teams' expansion.
With around 150 staff spread across a number of offices throughout the West Midlands and Worcestershire, the firm provides expert legal advice across the full spectrum of legal disciplines to both individuals and businesses alike.
The practices highly regarded and growing Residential Property Team is already established across the firms' network of offices and the intention now is to appoint an experienced residential conveyancing solicitor / legal executive / licensed conveyancer to head up the volume arm of this operation in order to further increase growth. The role can be based at one of a number of the firms' offices in the West Midlands and the Black Country.
This is a non-fee earning role although you will have gained significant experience in a fee earning capacity before moving into a managerial/supervisory role where you will have undertaken significant business development and marketing initiatives. In addition, you will also have experience of reviewing processes and implementing new procedures in order to improve efficiency whilst also growing the teams' turnover and profitability. You will be tasked with increasing revenue streams, winning new business, overseeing the performance of the current team members and also recruiting fee earners to service the new work that you will introduce to the firm.
This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious qualified residential property lawyer who is keen to take a step up and away from a traditional role and who really wants to make their mark at a firm where you will be able to report directly to the board and have the freedom to grow the residential property offering as you see fit.
This role will allow you to considerably the grow the team to the extent that there will be a clear path to partnership in the medium term, especially given the level at which you would join the team, whilst also taking an active role in growing the teams already significant standing in the market.
Naturally a competitive salary and benefits package is on offer which includes 23 days' holiday entitlement as well as extra holidays over the Christmas period when the office closes.
