Business Development Manager
Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Sales Executive
Business Development Manager is needed for our client, a forward thinking, dynamic security provider. This role is based at their offices in Burton-on-Trent, Newcastle and Goole. They are looking for someone to generate new business opportunities in Manned Guarding, Leisure Security, Retail Security, Mobile Patrol and Alarm Response.
Duties:
- Managing the generation of new business from new and existing clients to achieve monthly profit targets within the manned guarding sector, with strategic planning, development and implementation of the Security Division's growth
- Building a database of current users of their services by regular prospecting, increasing the database size by a minimum of 50 p/w
- Assisting with the development process from marketing intelligence through to a client identification, pre-qualification, tendering, negotiation and contract implementation
- Identifying opportunities for new business through market research
- Managing and conducting cost analysis including undertaking cost analysis of new business opportunities
- Attending tender site visits, client meetings and submission interviews - preparing and delivering presentation and completed tender documents to prospective clients
- Negotiating new contracts - including writing and drafting tender and contract documentation
- Having an excellent understanding of manned guarding and the Security Industry
- Administrate support will be provided for you to help with prospect addition to their CRM system along with telesales to help generate appointments for you. You will have a target of GBP750k.
Key Skills / Experience:
- Excellent presentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective meeting management skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Able to demonstrate ability to secure business which supports business development objectives and profitable business growth
- Sound understanding of Strategic Analysis, Risk Analysis & Business Assurance systems
- Good IT skills
- Ability to use common MS applications
- Ability to motivate yourself and work off of your own initiative
Benefits:
- Salary: GBP30,000
- Commission 1.5% of annual income
