Data/Finance Modeller/Analyst -Excel
A contractor Data/Finance Modeller/Analyst to work in retail finance division for our financial services client based in Leeds. The role will require strong partnering and analytical skills, working with business partners and other commercial teams. Excellent Excel skills, as will be building financial models TMI or Cognos skills would be desirable. This will be initially a six-month contract, with possible potential to extend.
Daily rate: GBP350-380 per day
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Data/Finance Modeller/Analyst to work on a number of projects in Retail Finance/Mortgages and commercial teams. Strong reporting and forecasting skills, using Excel as will be building financial models in Excel. Working closely with senior stakeholders, building relationships and communicating complex information to business partners and commercial teams.
Skills required:
- Strong Analytical skills
- Financial Modelling experience
- Reporting and Forecasting experience
- Provide timely information and analysis to affect business decisions
- Advanced Excel
- TM1 or Cognos skills desirable
- ACCA qualification or equivalent ideal or extensive experience will be considered
- Excellent stakeholder or business partnering experience.
- Support change projects and deliver continuous improvement
