Experienced Portering Manager Required in Birmingham
My client, a leading Facilities company that is looking for an experienced Porter Manager to join their growing team on an Interim basis. Working closely with a high profile corporate client, you will help to provide a streamline experience service to one key site. We are seeking self-motivated, experienced, proactive Managers to deliver world-class Support Services to a prestigious contract. The successful candidate will have excelled in a similar role, preferably within a Corporate environment and must have proven managerial capabilities.
Job Description
* Managing a team of 6 -10 employees
* Flexible regards to working hours
* Setting up Conference and exhibitions
* Maintenance of Office furniture, Rotas, disciplinary
* Must be able to work well under pressure
* Excellent organisational skills
* A good understanding of the labour budget
* You must be self-motivated and proactive.
* You will adopt a hands-on approach to this role, which may include heavy lifting.
* Understand and deliver all contractual terms for the Portering Service
* Ensure full purchasing compliance
* Complete labour schedules within agreed budget
* Ensure all costs are managed effectively and within budget
* Be a supportive leader to the team, manage any learning issues and create a positive working environment
* Monitor labour turnover and keep it to a minimum
* Succession planning
* Health and safety
* Encourage the team to provide an excellent service which in turn will product excellent client satisfaction survey
