Trainee Accountant / Accounts Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Accountant / Accounts Assistant with ACCA Study Support via a day release programme to join MWA Accounting based in Manchester city centre. Whether you are a graduate about to start your ACCA or PQ we can tailor the role around your level of study.

We are a boutique firm in the centre of Manchester with big growth plans. We have a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from sole traders to large multi nationals located all over the UK (only local travel will be required). We are committed to supporting our trainees through their academic studies both at work and via a day release study programme with a leading provider.

As a Trainee Accountant / Accounts Assistant you will work with a diverse group of clients both in the office and at their premises working on a variety of assignments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Bookkeeping
• Preparation of Accounts
• VAT / Tax Returns
• Credit Control
• Payroll

In addition to your graduate qualification we would like to see evidence of relevant work experience ideally within a practice environment.

In return for this you will receive a salary of £15,000 - 18,000 dependent on experience per Annum + Study Support.

• We will provide you with the hands-on day to day work experience you require fully supported by a partner.
• We will fund your day release programme and in addition provide you with time off for exams and study beforehand.
