About the Role
The Engineering Division is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced tutor to teach predominately across the Level 3, 4 & 5 Electronic/Electrical courses as required. Experience of delivery on Electrical/Electronic Pearson BTEC programmes, assessment procedures /IQA and an industrial background in a related field is essential to this role, ideally in a Further or Higher Education establishment.

Ideally candidates should have a general knowledge of Electrical/Electronic Principles and Engineering Science (up to Level 4/5) with the ability to teach across units such as Microprocessors, Electronic Devices & Systems, Electrical Installation, Analogue Electronics, Electronic Measure & Test, PLCs etc and possess a minimum of HNC/HND in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Candidates should be confident in supporting students as their pastoral tutor, assessing/monitoring and tracking student progression, have evidence of high achievement rates, strong value added results and positive student satisfaction.

The post is required from September 2017.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure check.
