Our client is a forward-looking College of Further & Higher Education that serves a large area of South East England with a wide range of vocational and academic courses, both full and part time. The College is situated in Ewell, close to Epsom in Surrey, and is located in the green belt near Epsom Downs and can easily be accessed either by car (junctions 8-10 on the M25) or rail (Ewell West is close and the college is next to Ewell East where you can get regular direct trains to Clapham Junction and Victoria). The College was last inspected in February 2016 retaining its overall grading of 'Good' under the robust new Ofsted standards.

Our client is currently recruiting to the following position:
Payroll Advisor
up to £22,768 p.a.
plus potential Market Supplement for exceptional candidate
The company is set in an attractive green campus outside Epsom, next to a mainline station. The College has recently undergone extensive redevelopment and they are able to offer staff free car parking and other on campus benefits together with generous holiday, Christmas closure and generous employer contributions to the Local Government Pension Scheme.
This role will support providing an efficient and effective Payroll and Pensions customer focused service ensuring the timely production of payroll/pensions information and dealing with and resolving queries from staff about their pay. Their ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to work to strict payroll deadlines and meet statutory deadlines and targets.
You will have 3 years' payroll experience in a similar role, the ability to process and make pensions and tax returns is essential; they service two pension funds depending on the employee's role. Applicants with previous experience of the Local Government and/or Teachers Pension Scheme will be of particular interest.
