UK Youth is looking for a professional, energetic and creative Marketing Manager to promote the great work of UK Youth to raise brand awareness and ensure the importance and impact of our work is well known.
UK Youth is the largest national body for the youth sector, supporting over 830,000 young people to build bright futures. After going through a recent rebrand, UK Youth is entering a new phase of development and growth, making it an exciting time to join the growing organisation.
In this role, your aim will be to raise brand awareness among three key audiences; help launch our movement to tackle social mobility; advocate the need for all young people to be able to access high-quality youth services in their local community; increase bookings and income at our outdoor centre, Avon Tyrrell; share examples of our work to demonstrate the positive social impact we have, and create a brand identity that can stand alongside our high profile partners such as Lloyds Banking Group, Global Music, The Big Lottery Fund, PwC, Sport England, UPS, Microsoft and Starbucks.
You will lead on the design and development of online/offline marketing collateral, support the UK Youth team with launching new programmes, plan and implement content strategies, lead on website development, management and SEO, provide consultancy advice to internal colleagues and support the development of the marcomms strategy and brand equity of UK Youth and Avon Tyrrell.
The ideal candidate will be a marketing professional with demonstrable experience of a wide range of marketing and communications approaches and a proven track record of raising brand awareness or increasing sales. You will have experience with delivering successful marketing strategies, designing marketing materials, driving digital content, managing SEO and PPC campaigns. You must be a self-starter who is comfortable operating in a fluid, fast changing environment along with being highly organised and capable of prioritising effectively. Enthusiasm, engagement and motivating yourself and others are critical competencies for this role. This is a small team and you must be comfortable in both strategic discussion and actual delivery.
This role offers the chance to make a real difference to the lives of thousands of young people through supporting the fundraising and delivery efforts of our team and the community based youth groups we support.
