Job Title: Portable Appliance Test Engineer
Based (region/office): Edinburgh UK
A Portable Appliance Test Engineer is required to join a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Fabric property maintenance company. This is a great opportunity for a Portable Appliance Test Engineer to be based in Edinburgh.
Brief Details of Position:
We operate on a Nationwide basis, providing Test & Inspection services to both internal and external clients, coordinated centrally from our Birmingham Office.
Due to the nature of the role a flexible approach to working requirements is needed, as a large amount of our work is completed out of hours. Applications are welcome from all parts of the country. Working throughout the UK is a requirement with overnight stays.
A DBS (Criminal Record Bureau) check is required for all successful applicants, which will be at the company's cost.
Essential skills:
All applicants must have:-
- City and Guilds 2377
- A full driving licence
This is a hands-on role and would suit an individual that can work using their own initiative and who has a proactive approach to undertake all tasks required, a conscientious and reliable team player and someone that has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to plan and supervise their own workload, liaise with the landlord's representatives and their clients is also required.
