Security Operations Manager

Security Operations Manager, Customer Service Manager, SIA License, Manned Guarding

Security Operations Manager with an SIA license and Full UK Driving License is needed for our client, a leading security service provider to clients throughout the UK. They currently have an exciting and varied role for a Security Operations Manager based at their Midlands Head Office in Burton-on-Trent.

This role is focussing on the Manned Guarding element of Security whilst assisting in the operation Leisure and Events area of their portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for the overall operational performance of security contracts and ensuring high customer service levels of your employees.

Role:

  • You will have responsibility for the operational performance of your area involving Manned Guarding, Leisure and Events through building and maintaining client relationships and ensuring high customer service levels of your employees.
  • Managing and motivating employees to ensure that the highest standards of quality control and customer care are delivered
  • Achieve set KPIs and SLAs
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and conduct regular client meetings
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship and partner with the regional support teams (HR and Business Development)
  • Ensure compliance of Company policies and procedures within your area, including Health and Safety and risk assessments

Skills / Requirements:

Essential:

  • SIA License
  • Full UK driving license
  • Proven track record of leading and managing a team
  • Strong operational experience gained in a multi-site or area management role
  • Exceptional client and customer relationship management skills and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication, organisational, influencing and facilitation skills
  • Good problem solving skills with ability to analyse on-going situations
  • Good health and safety knowledge and experience
  • Flexibility and willingness to work out-of-office hours
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office packages)
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands

Desirable:

  • Strong knowledge of security practices, equipment and legislation
  • Experience of managing a security contract or contracts within the Leisure, events and Manned Guarding sector
  • A track record of exceeding client expectations
  • Experience of investigations
  • Previous experience in working with Logosoft / Netroster software
  • First Aid / CSCS

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
