Job Description – Electrical Supervisor (Qualified Supervisor)

About the role –

We are currently looking to employ a Qualified Supervisor to join our existing team.

The position will comprise of the following –

• Provide a safe and healthy environment and working conditions for all electrically qualified and/or competent engineers.
• Comply with all Company Electrical policies/procedures to ensure timely and effectively implementation.
• Act as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor
• In conjunction with the MD, develop training programmes to enhance the development of the  electrical team
• Carry out supervision of testing and inspection of fixed wire installations
• Check, Approve and Authorise Testing Certificates and maintain records using NICEIC  Easycert software
• To be customer focused within all areas of operational activities and maximise relationships within our existing and future customer base.
• Deliver effective advice, leadership to the engineers, on site and remotely, and make a direct contribution to tool box talks and staff meetings.
• Ensure Electrical Compliance and maintain good record keeping for Company ISO Quality Management Systems and the NICEIC.
• Control and monitor the performance of electrical specialist service providers and sub-contractors.
• Maintain Calibration Records of all electrical testing equipment

Electrical Services Southern are recruiting for a QS to be based in Farnborough, but be willing to travel within a 50 mile (approx) working radius.  This is a full time, permanent role working a minimum of 45 hours per week. We are offering a competitive salary which will be negotiable depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications and experience required

• Able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of and experience of electrical installations within domestic and commercial buildings.
• Understanding of all relevant legislative and statutory requirements and implementation of Safe Systems of Work
• City and Guilds 2361, 2362 or equivalent
• IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations 2382
• Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations, or Equivalent  City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within an electrical supervisory role
• You must hold a full, clean driving licence as a vehicle will be provided
