Role Responsibility
The Principal / lead Consultant - Pre Sales Cisco is an influential and customer - facing role, you will be expected to engage in the pre-sales lifecycle, develop solutions required in response to customer requirements and also for the identification and solution development of opportunities that will enhance the end user experience. You'll have all the tools, information and resources to do what you promise a customer. You will be expected to have detailed in-depth understanding of customer requirements, defining and improving the solution process and per-sales and evaluating business value; whilst ensuring compliance with the company and, for existing customers, the account technical standards.

You'll work on anything from engaging directly with customers in support of the clarification or shaping of needs, leading a virtual team including Computacenter and Partner Consultants, monitoring global IT developments, to securing agreements and necessary approvals to deliver solutions from appropriate delivery teams, attending customer opportunity and strategy meetings, owning and managing contributions within Tender documentation request, supporting contract negotiations as well as having the ability to challenge the client and internal processes and decisions when appropriate- building strong customer relationships on every project.

Your experience of working in the IT services or consultancy arena environment will already have given you an understanding of taking full responsibility in Technical, Service and Commercial aspects of a Solution assuring suitability and effectiveness in achieving the desired outcome, experience of working under pressure and remaining decisive, appraising and quality assuring the work produced by others and experience of working in industry or commerce in a multinational environment, ideally within a quoted IT Service/ Outsourced service provider.

The Ideal Candidate
We're also looking for an individual who has a proven successful track record in winning outstanding business opportunities in the infrastructure field e.g. high bid winning ratio relating to comparable business outsourcing wins (Circa. GBP10 - GBP50 Million Total Contract Value). This individual must have a professional and dynamic approach and must be able to demonstrate a clear passion for delivering Secure IT Services and solutions. You will be:

Graduate level or relevant technical experience within a large organisation or IT Industry Ability to design complex multi technology solutions Proven relevant experience. Relevant qualifications or accreditations in one or more technology area(s). Ability to design complex technical solutions and provide input into bid, project and technical documents Broad knowledge of the business benefits that technical solutions can provide Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present at large internal and external audiences More than 5 years' experience in designing networking and security solutions across a wide range of vendors such as Cisco HP etc Ideally qualified to Cisco CCIE or minimum CCDP and with proven experience across other leading vendors including HP, Juniper, Arista, and Palo Alto, Meraki Technical expertise in , wireless networks, network security, Load balancing
