Nottinghamshire County Council is looking for a motivated and successful Service Support Desk Supervisor to join them and to help shape and provide support to the County Council's ICT users.

Reporting to the Service Support Desk Manager based in the ICT Service, Trent Bridge House Nottingham. You will have an excellent telephone manner and be able to communicate with both customers and colleagues. You will have strong leadership and analytical skills and be able to pick things up quite quickly as well as having good problem solving skills.

The role is technically challenging and requires the ability to receive and process interactions with the Service Support Desk whilst providing supervisory leadership to the rest of the team. You will be able to adapt to new ideas and technologies whilst providing the highest level of support.

Ideally experienced in the following;

  • Daily supervision of a small technical team
  • Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10
  • Active Directory
  • MS Exchange administration / Support
  • Microsoft products MS Office / Lync / Sharepoint / System Centre
  • Remote control software
  • Creating user accounts
  • Working in an ITIL environment
  • System Centre Service Manager (for call logging)

This role would be fantastic for someone with solid supervisory and 1st Line Support experience who is looking to join an innovative organisation providing a range of ICT services whilst being at the forefront of emerging technologies.
