Castle View Group are looking for a Quality Engineer to work in a busy inspection office, as part of a dedicated quality team, carrying out all aspects of inspection work.
The role will also involve working on the shopfloor carrying out inspections at various stages of the manufacturing process. The successful applicant will also be expected to generate and maintain all quality records as required.
Main Duties to include
• Carry out ISIRs
• Carry out inspections on Shopfloor
• Investigate internal rejects
• Provide support to shopfloor
• Assist with process improvements
• Promote quality awareness at all times
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a Quality related role gained in sheet metalwork engineering or similar environment
• Competent in the use of all types of basic measuring equipment
• Experience in the use of a Faro measuring arm
• Able to read/interpret engineering drawings
• Familiar with geometric tolerancing
• Computer literate
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Possess strong decision making skills
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team
• Have the ability to work on own initiative
• Have a flexible approach to work
• Keen to undertake training to learn new skills
