Vector have a brand new and unique opportunity for a Systems Integration Engineer for a home based role in the Berkshire area.
They are a new anomaly detection software service, that monitor, detect and alert faults with their customer's equipment (often items such as HVAC/fridges etc), who have a presence across the Home Counties. They monitor data to detect failure and can communicate this back to the customer quickly - often saving them excessive losses.
Whilst based officially in Kensington, all 15 of the company employees are home-based predominately, and this would apply for you also!
Due to increasing customer demand, we are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer who will be required to install and on-board software to new clients, and then act as a point of reference to the customer for future reference.
As a result, the Systems Integration Engineer will need to have a good understanding of transistor level electronics, and software programming knowledge to be able to implement software onsite and trouble shoot effectively.
A separate team is responsible for design and development of this software, as well as sales functions. This role focuses on maintenance, deployment, and account management.
As a Systems Integration Engineer (Software & Electronics), you will be required to undertake the following duties, and as a result likely have experience with most:
- Hands on Electronics experience around building services
- Knowledge of HVAC industrial services
- Network knowledge - Ethernet, WiFi etc
- Basic C/C++ programming software knowledge
- Communication skills - you will be representing the company as a key contact!
- Your own personal laptop/PC - initially whilst working from home, you will need to use your own
As a smaller organisation, you have a chance to really develop your career here and become a key member of their team as they continue to grow.
Benefits - as well as working from home most of the week, you will also be rewarded for expenses for travel. Company pension and holidays are of course standard, as well as a car allowance to cover any additional travel.
For more about this exclusive opportunity please contact Adam Shortland at Vector Recruitment
