This company is a leading care provider in the West Midlands, Staffordshire and Worcestershire. They are a growing modern care business and they need like-minded individuals to join their excellent team. They are looking for an experienced and assertive nurse, to join their team.
You will be working within a multi-care unit including residential care, supported living and complex needs providing an excellent service to service users using a holistic approach.
This is a challenging but exciting opportunity for a nurse who is looking to further their career and be part of the development of the service using person centred approaches.
Within the role, you will be required to lead and make decisions in the service in the manager's absence, with minimal active supervision, ensuring that the needs of all service users are met, staff and service users are kept safe and by supporting team members through supervision and mentoring.
They will work in partnership with families and other members of the multi-disciplinary team to develop person centred, positive behavioural support plans and risk assessments.
You must be live on the NMC register (RNLD or RMN), be able to demonstrate an understanding of the CQC requirements, Mental Capacity Act, DoLs, Positive Behavioural Approaches and current best practice. Experience of managing others would be desirable but is not essential.
If you are offered a position with us, you can expect:
- A friendly, down to earth and motivated team
- Competitive pay rates
- Structured support to ensure you have the tools to do your job well
- Appropriate training to ensure that you can do your job safely
- Ongoing training and CPD opportunities
