KS2 Teaching Assistant- The Role
As a KS2 Teaching assistant you will be working with children aged between 8 and 11, providing them with both academic and pastoral support. You will be required to carry out interventions for small groups of struggling students and sometimes on a 1:1 basis for those students who need a little extra support outside of the classroom.
KS2 Teaching Assistant- The Graduate
The successful candidate for this KS2 Teaching Assistant will have graduated from a Russell group University with a 2:1 or higher, preferably in a core subject degree. You will have a sound academic background, with good A-Level results. You must be able to demonstrate your passion for education and ability to both motivate and empathise with students upon meeting the school.
