Driving Plus are working as a recruitment partner for one of the UK's leading courier and delivery companies, whose distribution centre in Dordon, near Tamworth, require HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing long term assignments.
As a professional HGV C+E driver you will be working either part or full time on AM or PM shifts, with regular start times, mainly from 07.00-16.00 and 00.00-03.00 window to suit. The role entitles trunking products to distribution centres throughout the UK - no handball will be involved. You will be required to work mainly form Monday to Friday, with additional weekend or ad hoc shifts to suit. Successful applicants, will be rewarded with ongoing long term assignment with an excellent rates of pay and great working conditions. This role requires only drivers of the highest standard in presentation and skills.
The pay rates for Ltd Company drivers are as follows:
Monday to Friday - GBP12.50 per hour
Saturday - GBP13.75 per hour
Sunday/Bank Holidays - GBP16.25 per hour
Only HGV category C+E licence drivers will qualify. A minimum of 18 months HGV driving experience is desirable. You must have no more than 6 penalty points for driving offences and no driving bans
