Driving Plus, in partnership with one of the UK's leading third party logistic providers, recently appointed as the lead supplier for a new distribution operation centres based in Sherburn In Elmet, Castleford and Normanton, are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to work on one of the most desirable contracts in West Yorkshire area.
We are delighted to offer ongoing full time or part time work, on either AM or PM shifts, working 5 out of 7 days per week, with odd days or weekend shifts to suit. Upon the completion of our client's assessment, each successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a fixed shift pattern. As well as ongoing assignments, flexible working options, excellent pay and professional working environment, most assignments are long term for those that desire an ongoing opportunity.
The rates for HGV Class 1 Ltd Company Drivers are as follows:
Monday to Friday Days - GBP11.50 per hour
Monday to Friday Nights - GBP14.00 per hour
Saturday - GBP14.00 per hour
Sunday - GBP16.00 per hour
Only HGV category C+E drivers will qualify. A minimum of 12 months HGV driving experience is desirable. You must have no more than 6 penalty points for driving offences and no driving bans. References to cover the last 3 years will be required
