Our Client has developed, manufactured and supplied plastic products. It is a truly global company with 3000 employees and with production sites in Sweden, Germany, UK, Poland, Romania, China, Malaysia and Turkey.

Job Role:

Reporting to a Senior Account Manager, the successful applicant will use Excel and other system programs to analyse sales data in order to identify and report variances against the forecast for key elements including:

• Individual component pricing
• Customer demand
• Customer take rates
• Cost per car

They will also be launching a new sales forecasting tool in order to quickly give an accurate sales forecast and we will look for the successful applicant to summarise variances between forecast and actual sales. Additionally, the role will support other team members in wider projects such as liaise with the Purchasing Department on variations in raw materials and bought-in components and reporting the impact to forecast margin.

Given the nature of the role, we believe it could be based at any site but travel to Yorkshire for training will be required.

The Candidate:

• Candidates will need to demonstrate in-depth analysis ability (including identification and summary of variances) and strong computer skills (especially Excel).
• Knowledge of automotive products, customers and the AX system would all be advantageous.
• Applicants should be self-motivated, team players with good communication and organisational skills.
