9 Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Our client is one of the UK’s largest distributors of leading branded and own-branded medical consumables to all areas of the healthcare market. Part of the fast growing FTSE 100 international and outsourcing group, they offer a range of traditional and bespoke supply chain solutions to meet their customers’ requirements in today’s rapidly changing healthcare environment.

They are now looking to appoint a Warehouse Administrator to join them on a 9 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This is an extremely varied role where you will need to work in accordance with company targets and customer requirements.

Preparing packing lists and paperwork for pre-advised deliveries, you will generate relevant paperwork for checking off deliveries for the warehouse and receipt inbound deliveries into the system when put away by the Warehouse Operatives, making products available for customer orders. Raising notifications to suppliers on delivery discrepancies, you will generate, print and confirm stock replenishment of the aisles and liaise with Warehouse Team Leaders/Supervisors on warehouse paperwork queries.

Updating KPI records and daily diary statistics, you will generate pick sheets for the warehouse and produce paperwork and labels required. You will also confirm picking sheets once picked and packed by the warehouse and produce all relevant customer delivery paperwork.

In addition to this, there will also be the normal duties you would expect with an administrative role such as answering telephone calls, responding and dealing with emails, data input, filing, photocopying, laminating and labelling.

So if you have previous experience in an administrative role and have a basic understanding of a warehouse operation then they would love to hear from you. All that they ask is that you are IT literate, specifically in Microsoft Office and can manage your own time effectively to ensure daily objectives are met.

Those who have working knowledge of SAGE are highly desirable, as are those who hold an Order Picker licence.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00.
