Scheduling Assistant - Peterborough

Salary: GBP27,360 - GBP30,579 depending upon skills & experience.

Location - Peterborough (PE1 5TP)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Scheduling Assistant to support the Area in the planning and delivery of routine and non-routine work activities on the Terminal, Compressor Station, Pipelines and AGI assets within a geographic zone on gas transmission network system.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure compliance with operations work planning and delivery processes including the co-ordination of area and zone planning meetings.
  • Co-ordinate and input data used to allocate and optimise resources (direct and indirect) for effective delivery of the area and zone work plans
  • Use scheduling tools and liaise with operational teams to ensure an effective match between planned workload and resources is achieved
  • Provide necessary support to review key performance indicators (KPIs) using relevant databases
  • Ensure a systematic approach to the production of tools and techniques, including the preparation of associated training packages and use of all associated software
  • Ensure the efficient administration and maintenance of records, technical manuals, files and associated databases
  • Research and source information, systems, software and training material in support of initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of department/team performance, ensuring individual and team targets are achieved. This will include monitoring the process for setting and recording targets

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Required:

  • Valid driving license
  • Experience within Work planning/Scheduling.
