We have a new exciting opportunity, not to be missed! At Macmillan Distribution we are currently looking for a Publisher Services Support Coordinator to join our team based in Basingstoke. The successful candidate will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a competitive salary.

Macmillan Distribution (MDL) is the award winning distribution arm of the Macmillan Publishing Group. MDL provides a distribution service for its own Group publishers as well as distribution services to over 40 third party publishers. The commercial operations are based in Basingstoke and the warehouse in Swansea ensures a smooth operation of receiving, storing and distributing an extensive range of books, handling over 40,000 titles.

About the Publisher Services Support Coordinator role

The successful candidate will report directly to the Publisher Services Manager.  Working within the Publisher Services Team, they will take ownership of tasks and provide support to the Publisher Services Manager and Team, delivering exceptional service to our distributed Publishers and internal departments.

The Publisher Services Support Coordinator duties and key responsibilities

- Supporting the Publisher Services Team and taking ownership of tasks to resolution

- Building relationships internally and externally, gaining an understanding of our Publishers’ requirements and MDL’s internal processes

- Delivering exceptional service to our distributed Publishers

- Responding and resolving queries promptly, accurately and legibly in line with the department service levels

- Ensure processes are adhered to, are as smart as they can be and look for opportunities to develop and improve

Skills needed to become our Publisher Services Support Coordinator

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy

- Flexible and willing attitude

- Used to dealing with SLAs and tight deadlines with changing Publisher demands

This is an exciting role which requires strong interpersonal skills, initiative and the ability to

work with limited supervision, plus the flexibility to cope with a varied workload..

 

The position will be 35 hours per week and hours of work will vary between 09.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday. All applicants must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
