Experienced Reprographics Operator required for Bristol based reprographics company
The Role
As Reprographics Operator, you will work on artwork, repro and pre-press services. Performing accurate file management, digital artwork generation / manipulation, efficient organisation of plate production and effective liaison with all stakeholders, your responsibilities include:
- artwork pre-flight ensuring accuracy of technical specifications
- preparing accurate artworks & repro from approved design / client briefs
- creating print-ready artwork for packaging to meet production requirements
- retouching, checking and amending existing artwork
- proofing of design files and images from design agencies / graphic service providers
- producing internal GMG contract proofs / Step & Repeat production proofs
- calibration of proofing, CTP and measurement equipment
The Company
Our client is an independent Reprographics and Flexographic company. They provide a complete reprographic, film output and digital flexographic plate making service for clients.
The Person
As Reprographics Operator, you will have a full understanding of artwork, repro and pre-press process and a full knowledge of the printing process and techniques / colour management / ISO 12647-2 & -7. You will be experienced with artwork, repro and pre-press software including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, EskoArtpro, Automation Engine, GMG Software etc.
