Application Engineer

This company is looking for an Application Engineer

Got an interest in vehicles? Not just cars but trucks, trains, excavators etc? Know what a CAN network does and why you might want to talk to it? Have you ever instrumented something to understand how it works or modified it with an improvement?

They are currently working on the application of their novel technology to both next generation hybrids and current vehicles to reduce fuel consumption and improve performance. They are looking for an Engineer to support this.

Tasks:
- instrumenting
- characterizing
- modifying
- testing of miscellaneous vehicles

Requirements:
- Experience with instrumentation and electrical/electronic design
Interested in understanding how things work
- How to improve them
- Enjoys getting their hands dirty making stuff

They don't want someone who just wants to project manage from a desk.
