The Position
Applications are invited for a Site Shift Electrician at the Company's Widnes Site. This is a full time permanent position, working 4 on 4 off shifts (days and nights) averaging 42 hours per week.
As a Site Shift Electrician your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company's requirements but will include:
- Working under Health & Safety guidelines.
- Site Electrical installations and upgrade work around plants.
- Electrical maintenance of Plant including ppm system.
- Attending and rectifying electrical breakdowns on Energy and Rendering divisions.
- Maintenance of lighting systems including emergency lighting.
- Electrical Maintenance of offices.
- Training of apprentices.
- Environmental and general compliance under IPPC regulations and EMS 14001 accreditation.
The Person
- You must have knowledge of Heavy Industry electrics.
- Have extensive electrical knowledge / training.
- Experience of handling electrical maintenance and breakdowns.
- Confident demeanor.
- Be able to troubleshoot and solve process problems.
- Experience of plant operations.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to converse at all levels
