Our client is seeking a Customer Service administrator on a Temporary to Permanent basis to work alongside a busy, friendly team. This role is to provide assistance and support to the Customer Service Team, ensuring that an excellent standard of service is provided and maintained.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contributing to 100% customer satisfaction
  • Supporting the Customer Service Department.
  • Distribution of all incoming Sales Orders to the relevant order team.
  • Distribution of all pricing/tender enquiries to relevant sales person.
  • Issue of all samples requests received.
  • Scanning of all customer sales orders.

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND SCOPE

  • Ensure all customer orders are retrieved and issued to the Customer Service Team in a timely manner to allow the team to meet customer expectation.
  • Pre-screening of all orders – price checks, prioritisation checks and allocating to specific order processor who manages account.
  • Management of incoming mailboxes and distribution of price/tender enquiries.
  • Answer incoming calls in busy periods or when required for absence/holiday cover.
  • Provide order processing support to the Customer Service Team in busy periods or when required for absence/holiday cover.
  • Assist with back order stock allocation as and when required.
  • Provide support to the Customer Satisfaction Manager as and when required.
  • Reception cover during lunchtimes.
  • QUALITY ASSURANCE: The jobholder is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the QA Management System and specifically for adhering to the quality assurance process for this function.
  • The jobholder is responsible for arranging the updates to processes to go to the Quality Assurance Manager for integration to the Quality Assurance Management System.

JOB KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications and Experience

  • Maths & English - GCSE (or equivalent) grades A-C - Essential
  • Previous Administration & Customer Service experience – Essential
