Volunteer Cornwall is a county-wide organisation, supporting the development of people and communities through volunteering.  An exciting opportunity has arisen for the following post:

Time Banking Your Way Co-ordinator

This is a part time post, 18¾ hours per week, based in Truro

(Days are flexible)

Salary £20,661 per annum pro rata

Part of the Your Way suite of youth services, Time Banking allows young people to earn rewards for the time they spend volunteering for their community.

Based at our Truro office but covering the county, you will form part of our team promoting & supporting Time Banking.  You will visit schools and youth groups, attend promotional events signing up young people and encouraging businesses and community groups to get involved.

The successful applicant should have excellent communication skills and be IT literate.  They should have an understanding of voluntary youth provision and to be able to demonstrate an awareness of the needs of young volunteers and relevant host organisations.

The post attracts an essential car user allowance of £600 per annum pro rata.
