Electrical Engineer - Bradford - (GBP28,000 - GBP30,000 per annum).
My client, operating within the manufacturing industry, is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their Bradford site.
Essentially, my client is looking for a time served Electrician with a good background in industrial engineering, primarily electrically biased but with some mechanical knowledge.
Skills needed:
* Preparing specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
* Prepare and study technical drawings specifications of electrical drawing and keeping them up to date after modifications.
* Critical thinking- Using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions (thinking outside the box).
* Installation experience - installing machines, wiring or programs to meet specifications
* Good communication skills - written and verbal.
* Responding to machine breakdowns
* Experience of undertaking scheduled maintenance tasks.
* Flexibility in working hours - covering sick and holidays when required.
* Own tools.
Experience needed:
* 16th or 17th Edition.
* Knowledge of Pneumatics.
* Knowledge of Hydraulics.
* DC and AC drives.
* Some knowledge of PC's inverters.
The role is essentially shift based work, a continental shift pattern (2 on 2 off). Overtime is also available.
