Graduate Learning Mentor- Person Specification
The successful candidate will be a recent Russell Group university graduate, and have received a 2:1 higher in their degree, with a good academic background, including solid A-level results. You must have a passion for education and a desire to develop young learners. You must be a resilient individual, with excellent communication skills enabling you to work with students from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds.
Graduate Learning Mentor- Job Role
As a Graduate Learning Mentor you will be required to work with students with a range of abilities, from struggling students needing extra support to reach the critical C grade at GCSE, to the schools gifted and talented students, pushing for the top grades to facilitate their entry into Russell Group Universities. You will be required to work in your specialist subject area and will be working alongside a recently qualified teacher who will assist you throughout your time at the school and support you with your PGCE application.
