Our client have an exciting opportunity for an Senior Temporary Works Engineer to join their team.

Job Title: Senior Temporary Works Engineer 

Salary: Up to £60k basic dependent on experience + travel assistance (dependent on location) + benefits

Established in 2002, this mid-sized engineering consultancy have got a reputation for delivering specialist design services for scaffolding design and temporary works design on some major projects across the UK. If it possible within the laws of physics, then they will find a way to make the impossible possible for their clients.

Due to continued expansion of the company, which in the last 4 years has seen them double the headcount and expand to 4 offices in the UK, they are looking to recruit an Senior Temporary Works Engineer for their London office. Ideally this person is experienced enough to work underneath the Regional Director, taking on some office management responsibility and ultimately with the ambition to lead the London office in the future.

Senior Temporary Works Engineer –The Role:

A new position in this successful and steadily growing engineering consultancy, the Managing Director is looking for someone who can take a leading role in the management of projects in the London office.

Senior Temporary Works Engineer – Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and directing the progress during the lifecycle of projects
• Mentor and support engineering staff
• Client interaction including, site surveys, ensuring feasibility of new projects and taking design briefs
• Developing concept solutions for temporary works including design drafting using AutoCAD
• Preparing quotes & costs for new projects

Senior Temporary Works Engineer – Experience Required:

• Chartered engineer or working towards chartership
• Degree qualified, structural engineering
• Experience of designing solutions for temporary works
