Field Telecoms Engineer - NEC / Panasonic / Samsung

This company is primarily looking for an engineer with experience and training with NEC SV9100 / SV8100 / SL1100 systems installation and maintenance. Engineers with experience in other PBX telephony systems such as Panasonic, Samsung, Siemens, Unify & Avaya may also apply as cross training can be provided.

Experience with VOIP and SIP trunking is essential, as is a good level of IT literacy and understanding of network topography.

Ongoing manufacturer and in house training will be provided for the successful candidate with room to grow in their expanding company.

This is a mixed and varied role involving:

- On site telephone system installation
- Basic customer handset training
- Maintenance of existing telephone system installations
- Additional works / changes for current customers
- Hosted handset deployment and configuration
- Remote maintenance.

Their customer base is focussed around the Yorkshire M1 / A1 / M62 area, with customers further afield so travelling and occasional overnight stays are required.

It is essential that you have strong communication skills, you are well presented, possess a flexible positive attitude and have good proactive problem solving skills.

A full UK driving license is a requirement.

Yorkshire / M62 Corridor / M1/A1 Corridor all considered

Basic salary c£25K to £35K (neg. depending on experience) + overtime + company car package
