All these roles, in slightly different ways, involve engaging with apprentices and equipping them with the knowledge, confidence and skills to complete the apprenticeship process successfully. Along with the right technical qualifications (typically an NVQ 3 or equivalent) and proven on-the-job experience, you must have good organisational and communication skills – and the ability to build strong working relationships with apprentices, colleagues and external employers and organisations. Any knowledge or involvement in Government training schemes and National Vocational Qualifications would be an advantage.
