Our client is one of the leading strategic partners to the international engine and automotive industry. 

They are now seeking a Trainee Maintenance Engineer to join their team.  This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has finished college with a Manufacture Engineering qualification, or perhaps someone who is willing to learn and gain qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting Maintenance team with day to day maintenance and cleaning of coating equipment, ancillary equipment and site facilities across the business.
• Assisting with preparation of Service and Spares jobs, including bonding of coating targets.
• Assist Maintenance team with daily/weekly /monthly checks in accordance with the appropriate documentation.
• Assist Maintenance team in monitoring and recording pump run hours and number of coated cycles completed.
• Assist Maintenance team in monitoring and maintaining coating target and spares stock levels Fault finding and diagnostics on systems as necessary.

Requirements:

• Good general education.
• Hands on person, able to work equally well with shop-floor staff and management.
• Ability to display flexibility Methodical/systematic approach.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to take on responsibility.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
