Salary £25-28,000 + overtime, + excellent shift patterns + fantastic company training and progression!!
Working in the PRODUCTION KITCHEN for this Global Company based in Feltham, we are looking for a motivated Pastry Sous Chef.
Pastry Sous Chef Role;
- In charge and accountable overall pastry production
- Product research an product development
- Leading and coaching pastry employees
- Ensure pastry food production on time as requested
- Ensure that produced pastry adheres to quality and specification standards
- Product research (based on restaurant visits, books, own creativity)
- Trial cooking
- Present, photograph and write recipe for the product
- Employee staffing
- Assessment of the appointed new pastry chefs or in house trials as required
- Control of food cost and product wastage
- Control quality consistency of pastry produced
- Preparation and calculation of pastry recipes and costs
Pastry Sous Chef Experience;
- Previous experience in similar role in kitchen/pastry environment
- Team working and Leadership skills
- Advanced H &S knowledge and application at work
- Excellent English and communication skills
- Intermediate skills in MS office application
- Ability to work and motivate the team
- Lead by example
- Flexible to work various shifts / days
