This business is a leading cyber security consultancy undergoing significant change following a successful flotation on the London Stock Exchange at the end of last year. Reporting to the Managing Director in a business evolving at significant pace, this new role will establish and develop the HR function for the UK and their Australian subsidiary. Based in their Bradford head office, with a requirement to visit other UK locations as necessary, the successful candidate will make an early and important contribution to the business strategy.

Role summary
The role of HR Manager presents an exciting opportunity in a growing company. Working closely with the directors and leadership team, the successful candidate will provide effective and practical HR solutions, develop HR policy and capability, and be responsible for driving organisation development and people processes that are consistent with their values. As the company continues to grow, a key focus will be on direct source recruitment, on-boarding, securing their talent pipeline, integrating teams and structure, and developing capability at all levels. As an organisation with people at its core, talent development and staff engagement are at the top of the agenda for growth. This is a full generalist role working in partnership with and supporting the leadership team in all elements of HR, from policy, practice and employee relations, to coaching, learning and development.

The candidate
To apply for this role you should be able to demonstrate broad HR management experience, taking responsibility for HR functions, best practice initiatives and driving change, preferably in a technical, service delivery, or sales driven environment, where attraction, retention, engagement and talent development is key.

Candidates should be highly passionate about establishing a credible and valued HR function, promoting success through formulating and delivering excellent HR processes, and a people plan that supports the wider business agenda.

CIPD qualified or equivalent, you must also be flexible, adaptable and seeking a generalist standalone role as your next move.

Although this is a full time role, they have extended hours of operation, so a more flexible pattern of working is something they are able to consider.
