Operational Account Manager (Insurance outsourcing)
This business manages critical incidents in the car and home on behalf of the world's leading insurers, brokers and fleet managers, together with warranty and service plan provision for many automotive manufacturers globally.
Working as part of an operational account management team you will:
- Be an escalation point for the client
- Work with the Operation to secure the required levels of performance
- Engage with the client to design and implement improved business processes
- Seek out opportunities to drive more revenue via their managed accounts
- Analyse and present performance Management Information (MI)
- Drive improvements to the service and customer experience
They are looking for an experienced account manager to take responsibility for our clients including -
- Maximising customer perception of the uniqueness of their proposition to secure long term contract renewals
- Providing insight and acting as the "voice of the customer" inside the business in order that their interests are represented and promoted
- Identifying sales opportunities within existing customer contracts to develop more profitable relationships.
The main duties and responsibilities/activities include
- Monthly performance review meetings
- Operational performance monitoring
- A plan for each client, to improve performance, is in place
- Resolution of client operational issues are resolved to the clients satisfaction
- Supporting the sales effort through subject matter expertise for new clients where required
- Advise the business on operational necessities and Client imperatives
- Represent headline operational performance
- Manage the scope and handling of all customer audits and lead the audit response
- Understand the capabilities of the supply offering so that you are able to articulate them to the customers
- At a high level, work with Change to shape and develop the systems and processes which deliver service, drive efficiencies and enhance revenues
What you will need in order to succeed in this role
- Previous account management or Insurance background essential
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- Proven experience in driving sales and service teams
- Demonstrable experience of performance management
- Numerate and articulate
- Dynamic - self starter
